Certificates and CE marking

CE marking according to EN 1090-1

As from 1 July 2014, all steel products that are intended for steel structures must be CE marked according to EN 1090-1. The CE marking encompasses load-bearing sections made of steel and aluminium, which can include small parts such as screws/nuts up to large, composite products such as frameworks.

Nordic Fastening Group’s CE marked products include:

• CE marked threaded bars
• CE marked foundation bolts
• CE marked tension rod components
• Steel construction screws in accordance with EN 15048-1

As our factory NFG sp.zo.o is certified in accordance with EN 1090-1 and ISO 3834, we can also CE mark our welded parts.

Through our FPC system (Factory Production Control), we have full control over the fastenings’ mechanical properties all the way from the factory to our own laboratory, where we check and perform a final examination of the documents that are associated with the product.

You can always rest assured that NFG’s products satisfy the requirements for CE marking according to EN 1090-1 and EN 1090-2 when it comes to:

● Strength
● Impact strength
● Elongation after fracture
● Weldability
● Requirements regarding durability

Nordic Fastening Group’s certification is performed by A3Cert.
